Brief Project Scope of Work
Supply and installation of 50 each, 2-storey and 83 each, 1-storey complex/latrine trailers with varying sizes. These modular trailers will be fabricated off site and will be installed in Airbase together with exterior skirting. The skirting, concrete landing and exterior steel stair & landing will be designed and will be installed at necessary height on door opening as per specification. The skirting will have vent louver and access doors.
HVAC system will be furnished on the building where the compressor units and will be installed at exterior concrete pads. Grounding system was provided for the equipment and modular building. All required new utility system will be hooked up to existing utilities. Fabrication off site, on site work necessary to construct foundations and connect to utilities, transportation from the fabrication yard to the site, placement of the facility on foundations, connect to utilities and other pertinent works to provide a complete and usable dry stock modular facility offices, 16 ft. by 46 ft. (24 each) Furnish and install double storey 16 room dormitory facilities (16 nos.). The facility shall contain 2 rows of rooms separated by a hallway. It contains a shower and latrine facility on each floor. Each room will be 16’ x 12’ in size. The facility will include fire fighting system, fire sprinkler heads, piping system and fire panel system. The facilities shall be equipped with all utilities such as water sewer, electrical and communication system. The single storey dormitory facility (16 man sleeper) 56 each.

The contract scope of work was to build taxi-ways and runways for the British Royal Air Force in Dhahran Air Base. The work included cut and fill operations, preparation of sub-grades according to standard specifications, and placing the designed concrete pavement thickness which was reinforced with two layers of steel reinforcement mesh. Due to weather condition and urgency nature of the job, special admixtures and concrete additives were included in the concrete mix to speed up the hardening process and to help in reaching the required concrete strength in specified time. Provide water trucks for the supply of water necessary for this job. Clean up all debris, rubbish & waste accumulated during the removal process. Dispose off these waste materials. Prepare the specified procedure in testing the performance work i.e. to test the removal of 85-100% rubber and paint deposits. Paint the runway pavement according to the manufacturer standards and to the satisfaction of contracting officer.

The project includes the construction of 26 storey building with 3 basements in Seef District Bahrain. The major work is deep excavation up to – 15 mtrs. With sheet pilling and dewatering system and RCC cast – in – place piles.

The works involve utility connection from an existing S.W. Facility, located 2.50 kilometers away: 2.50 km. of 11kv electric distribution line, 3 core x 120 msq, medium voltage cable, xlpe/swa/pvc direct buried copper cable, anufactured by Gulf Cable, pre-cast concrete manholes, cable protective tiles, detectable warning ape, fine sand bedding and grounding system. The electric system include outdoor type MVA sub-station; primary voltage is 11,000 volts and secondary voltage of 4160 volts. There are 2 units, 12.5 kva step down transformer, from 4160 volts/380-220 volts; 4160 volts switch-gear array; 1kv oil switch load break for the main power transformer.
2.50 km. of 24 core, fiber optic cable, communication line, manufactured by Belden. It is inserted In 4 inch pvc conduit, sch. 80, with 1x36mmsq, stranded bare copper wire as grounding system. It is protected by detectable warning tape and cable protective tiles or bricks. It involves pre-cast Concrete manholes with heavy duty covers and complete grounding system. 2.50km, water line system, 2 inch pvc conduit sch. 80. it involves 4 nos. of gate valve and non-return valves. The pre-engineered building is manufactured by Kirby of Kuwait. It is 38 metersx26metersx7.20 meters high. It has HVAC, 2×2 tons carrier package air conditioning units, lighting and power system, power receptacles, lighting and power panel boards, UPS system, fire alarm and protection system, CCTV and communication system, raw water and distilled water system etc.

High Speed Train Connecting Egypt’s Ain Sokhna to Alamein
This railway line will link Ain Sokhna on the Red Sea coast and the new Alamein City on the Mediterranean coast in Egypt. The project is about Build, finance and operates an electric high-speed passenger and freight railway line. The 534-kilometre high-speed rail is to be developed using a combined engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and financing model. This project comprises first phase of Egypt’s plan to build 2,000 kilometres of high-speed rail to complement its mainline network. Client has prequalified 10 consortiums for the contract to build, finance and operate this scheme. The Transport Ministry is studying offers from 23 local and international firms to build, operate and maintain a high-speed electric railway line linking Ain Sokhna to Al Alamein. A joint committee from the ministries of housing and transport is expected to conclude its review of the offers within a month, after which the government will begin receiving financial and technical offers. The 534-km line will accommodate both cargo and passenger trains, passing through the new capital, 6 October City, and Alexandria.
